By the way, I want to inform everyone that I'll be heading off to Korea very soon. Yes, I'm wetting myself in excitement. Also, I'm thinking of starting a new blog, not about Kpop, but possibly my experience there versus the way it is at home. I'll keep you guys posted.

I only have one thing to say: Lee Hyori is the best Kpop cross-dresser I have ever seen. Yoon Eun Hye and Park Shi Hye have nothing on her.

The MV played out on what looked like a Broadway setting. I heard that the female extras were from Korea’s Next Top Model which is cool. Although I wonder if that has anything to do with the fact that one of her last singles was Miss Korea. Hmmm...
All in all, I thought they were pretty good actresses, considering that I know for a fact after watching America's Next Model, good acting is not a necessary skill set to be a top model. Note that the key word is acting, guys. Do not try this at home. You WILL NOT get away with it.
If this was real life, Hyori would be punched in the face.
Hyori was definitely the star of the video. Her role as the stereotypical lecherous, charming, suave playboy was played to absolute perfection. There was no hesitation, no awkwardness, just smooth all the way through. Even as she was lifting skirts, stealing kisses, and taking raunchy photos, she kept up that bad-boy smirk all the way. If it wasn't for the awful facial hair, I probably would have thought it was a real dude.
No, actually that is a lie. I knew it was her because I read an article about it in Allkpop. So I guess I was spared from making one of the most awkward mistakes ever.

Dance
The dance itself has a very oldies, Broadway style. It's the kind of dance where you would expect to see the dancers wear sailor outfits and wink saucily at passers-by. I can't tell if Hyori just isn't as strong a dancer as she is a singer, or if she is a good dancer but was just having a bad day. Either way, I thought the whole choreography was done a little half-heartedly. It lacked the usual vigorous energy that I would normally associate with this kind of upbeat song.
She couldn't summon the enthusiasm after being told she couldn't cross-dress on stage.
Fashion
Since Hyori spends the majority of the music video as a guy, the only comment I have to make would be the abomination of the aforementioned facial hair.
That mustache is actually a caterpillar.
As for the bustier, I'm not a fan of them in general, but I'll admit that Hyori looked beautiful in it. I suppose the females extras deserve to be mentioned though, as they wear a wide variety of outfits ranging from what looks like dresses stolen from the set of Sound of Music to the type of of outfits that are usually only reserved for Halloween.
