Introduction

So......
It is neither a lie nor an exaggeration to say that my last blog was a total disaster. I was going through a depression and hence, it was filled with murky, angsty thoughts that were about as bright as the wallpaper I chose (FYI, it's this one). So I have decided to start over.

Restarting my blog is mostly strategic on my part. If I hope to score a writing job in the future, I have to start sharpening my observation and writing skills, which sadly to say, have rapidly deteriorated ever since I switched my books for my laptop. I thought about it long and hard (Well, not really) and well, why can't I write about something I love? And something I love at the current moment is kpop.

Now I realize with the growing interest in kpop as well as the increasingly protective fandom who would literally fight to the death to defend their idols' honor, kpop is becoming an almost sensitive topic to discuss. So let me start off by pointing out a few things which hopefully will prevent me from ending up in a ditch in the future.
  1. My intention is not to insult anyone, nor is it try to tell professionals how they should do their job. I want to hone my writing skills (Cuz right now they suck ass). That's it. The end. Kpop, being something I'm into at the moment, is nothing more than something I'm using to achieve that goal.
  2. Anything I say in my blog is strictly my opinion and mine alone. It does not reflect the opinion of my family, friends or the random group of people who saw my pants rip last week. I am not discussing politics, religion or ethnicity. This is only Kpop, so really, don't burst a vein. Your idols have endured worst things than me.
  3. Lastly and perhaps most IMPORTANTLY, I never promised to be fair. Yeah, you read correctly. I am not a professional writer, nor am I detached enough to remain impartial towards all kpop groups. I am as much a fan as any of those screaming, sobbing girls you see at concerts and yes, I have biases and groups that I dislike. So I will probably be biased, I will be unfair and yes, I will be painfully blunt. But hey, at least you get fair warning.
I won't just be reviewing Kpop music of course. I love Kpop, but it isn't my whole life (Yet). I'll also be doing books, shows (Maybe), and movies (Nah, not likely). And since I kinda need this to get noticed, comments are most encouraged. And yes, I can tolerate criticism pretty well. Let the bloodbath begin!

Oh, and p.s: I probably will be referring to Simon and Martina quite a lot since their reviews are currently the only one I'm watching. They are awesome. Everyone go check them out! =D
